Whisking Up a Mission
As a founder and high school student, my mission is to ignite a passion for baking and culinary arts while making a meaningful impact on communities in need. I started this venture during middle school amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, using baking as a therapeutic outlet. It has since evolved into a way to connect, share joy, and give back.
Baking Up Change
Through our delicious creations and engaging baking events, I raise funds to support charitable organizations in India. Our focus is on aiding elderly individuals and providing educational opportunities and housing for underprivileged children. Every bite and event helps us contribute to a brighter future for those in need.
Layered Reflections: My Love for Baklava
Baklava, with its delicate layers of phyllo pastry covered with honey saffron syrup, is more than just a dessert, it’s a metaphor for life, for my life. Each sheet, thin and fragile, builds upon the next, coming together to form something far more meaningful than its individual pieces. The process of making baklava is a labor of love, requiring patience, precision, and an appreciation for the art of creation. It’s in this process that I find myself.
